Job Description
The J-1 Construction Training Program offers Indian candidates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the U.S. construction industry. Over a period of 12 months, participants will be trained in a variety of construction-related areas including concrete work, metal building assembly, roofing, road work, house modelling, and wood frame housing.
Each trainee will follow a customized training plan outlining learning objectives, practical phases, supervision, and evaluation processes.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: 18 to 28
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, or
- Bachelor’s degree in a vocational field related to construction
Other Requirements:
- Valid four-wheeler driver’s license
- Willingness to travel as required
- Physical ability to work outdoors, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop for extended periods

Pay scale – Pay depends according to Host/Employer assigned: Approximately $12 per hour
